About

My greatest joy is spending time with my deep-hearted, marathon-running husband Michael, an enneagram 1w9, and our three wild and precious daughters, long-awaited gifts after several years of infertility. Michael and I marvel at the way our girls move so differently through the world, each reflecting God in a unique way. Our oldest is a deep feeler with an artist’s heart and a keen eye for beauty. Our middle daughter radiates joy, keeps us laughing all day, and loves being on the move. Our youngest, a miracle born with a congenital heart defect, needed a life-saving open heart surgery at 7 weeks old. She is fearless and full of gumption, as though she somehow knows she’s been given a renewed chance at life. Motherhood simultaneously takes my breath away and rips open my heart, calling me daily to sacrificial love and resiliency.

About eight years ago, Michael and I co-founded Redeemer Counseling. My passion for this work comes from being a client myself. Counseling has been a life-changing process for me. I’m grateful for the attentive, compassionate eyes who have witnessed and grieved my pain with me, helping me excavate the beauty and strength underneath the rubble. The process has given me a deeper sense of my unique calling, allowing me to move into my world with more love and intentionality.

When I’m not in the counseling room, you can find me speaking and writing on themes that stir my heart, such as story, calling, mothering, sexuality, and the enneagram. As an enneagram 3w4, I enjoy a competitive game night with friends gathered around Fibbage or Apples to Apples, and I also love savoring the darkest chocolate and boldest coffee available during a deep conversation with a close friend.
